The service
PinnedWorld is an interactive map for tracking countries and cities you've visited. We may change, add, or remove features at any time.
Accounts & acceptable use
You're responsible for activity under your account. Don't use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, or disrupt or abuse the platform (including scraping or automated bulk access outside of normal use).
Premium & payments
The core app is free. An optional one-time premium unlock is sold through Paddle, our merchant of record, who handles payment, taxes, and billing. Refunds are handled according to Paddle's policy — contact us and we'll help.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links to travel partners (GetYourGuide, Booking.com, Airalo) are affiliate links. If you book or buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only link to partners we think are useful; we don't control their products, prices, or service.
Data accuracy
Geographic and population data is provided "as is" from open datasets and may be incomplete or inaccurate. PinnedWorld is for personal, informational use — do not rely on it for navigation, safety, legal, or official purposes.
Intellectual property & attribution
Map and place data is sourced from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0), Natural Earth, OpenStreetMap, and OpenMapTiles, and remains subject to those licenses. The places you mark are yours. The PinnedWorld name, design, and code are ours.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PinnedWorld is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
